The Higher Education Ministries Arena (HEMA) is part of the non-profit corporation, Council for Higher Education Ministries (CHE Ministries, Inc.), the primary structure through which several Protestant denominations work ecumenically to achieve common goals in higher education ministries.

HEMA makes available online a Directory of Ministries in Higher Education, publishes Lenten and Advent meditation guidebooks, provides an online Personnel Service, sponsors training events and occasional continuing education events for new campus ministers, chaplains, pastors and laypersons along with other projects.
