Here are a few suggestions on how to begin your search for a ministry in higher education: step 1 Assess your interests, skills, values, and personal needs. step 2 Become familiar with issues in higher education communities through reading and interviews with persons involved in higher education. step 3 Discover what positions are available. The best presentation is that which evidences your knowledge of the specific campus setting and ministry and includes what you can offer to fulfill the ministry's goals. Your research is particularly helpful if you are selected for an interview. step 6 Others may also seek the position for which you are applying.
