HEMA Personnel Service
These
services are offered through HEMA's Office of Personnel Services to
assist you in exploring the possibilities of expressing your ministry
in a campus-related setting. In addition, we offer our services to
local and state campus ministry boards, both helping them develop their
processes for filling vacant ministerial positions and circulating
their position announcements to let you know what positions are
available.
Essentially,
as a broker of this information, our primary service is to send you
announcements of current openings together with the descriptions of
positions that are provided by the search committees. This service is
free of charge. The frequency of these announcements depends on how
often we receive them. We will forward announcements to you by Internet
immediately upon receiving them. From our experience over the past few
years, the number of announcements will vary between 30 and 40 annually.
Once
you have received these announcements, if you are interested in the
position described and fit the criteria for the person being sought, it
is then your responsibility to initiate a contact with the search
committee to get additional information you may want, to express your
interest in being considered for the position, and to receive from them
details on the process of the search and the information their
committee wants from you.

This list includes positions-open announcements
submitted by campus ministries and chaplaincies across the USA. The
list is a service of Higher Education Ministries Arena, a program
function of American Baptist Churches USA, the Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ), the Episcopal Church, the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of
Christ, and the United Methodist Church. To submit a position-open
